Villa Petriolo Chianti 2002
Florence, Tuscany, ItalyIntense gamey, black cherry, smoky licorice aromas with some rosemary notes. Ripe, round and elegant with soft textures. Spicy, peppery, gamey, earthy black cherry flavours and a touch of dry tannins on the finish. Very flavourful and elegant and that is no mean feat given the 2002 rains in Tuscany.Tasted: 28 September 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.95 | 750ml |
