Napa Valley, California, United StatesSpicy, briar, peppery, blackberry jam nose streaked with vanilla and black raspberry. Very fruity yet round and soft with elegance. Lots of spicy, earthy, peppery, black raspberry jam and chocolate flavours mixed with a slightly rootsy note. Fine balance here with an attractive style for both current consumption, or for holding over the next few years. A fine example of zinfandel and the 15% alcohol is not really noticeable at all.
