Prunotto Barolo Bussia 1998
Piedmont, ItalyVery smoky, tarry, vanilla, peppery, licorice, black plum jam with five-spice but a touch alcoholic. Rich and intense but lots of chewy tannins. Very flavourful with peppery, smoky, resiny, plum and sour cherry jam flavours. Big tobacco, mocha spice finish with some warmth and acidity. Big and balanced but again needs years to come around but excellent potential.Tasted: 08 September 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $95.00 | 750ml | Specialty |
