Villa Antinori Bianco 2002
Tuscany, ItalyVilla Antinori Bianco was first introduced by Niccolò Antinori (Piero's father) with the 1931 vintage and has remained virtually unchanged since then. In the 1980s, chardonnay was added to the blend for additional structure and today the tradition continues with fruit from the Monteloro Vineyards located to the north of Florence, near Fiesole. Look for a floral pear mineral quince nose with nutty undertones. The mid-palate boasts a similar, nutty, lemony fresh character with green peach flavours.
