Lurton Mendoza Bonarda 2001
Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaJacques & François Lurton started producing wine in Argentina in 1992 and now have extensive holdings in the Mendoza region. The bonarda has a deep colour and a smoky leathery licorice nose with sour cherries and prunes. The entry is round with fine mid-palate fruit flavours of sour cherries and plum streaked with licorice. Good extract and a medium to long savoury finish. Most grilled meat would be a fit here.Tasted: 14 August 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $9.99 | 750ml | Specialty |
