Carneros, Napa Valley, California, United StatesBig toasted garlic lees nose with a whack of creamy vanilla mark the nose of this mostly Huichica Hill Carneros chardonnay. Big open lemon, citrus, green apple and toasted vanilla flavours with an intense creamy citrus rind aftertaste. The Burgundian undertones make this seem perhaps atypical for Carneros but not for Mondavi.
