Napa Valley, California, United StatesBoysenberry jam, leather, black pepper and vanilla aromas jump out of the glass streaked with sandalwood and cassis notes -- very ripe and aromatic. Rich and concentrated fruit with supple but grainy mountain tannins. Intense blackberry jam, cassis, chocolate, spicy, black pepper flavours and a dense plummy, cedar finish. Somewhat alcoholic but with fine ripeness and elegance.
