Verona, Veneto, ItalyRústego is a bit of an unusual blend of merlot, cabernet and corvina. Look for an earthy, minty, tobacco, leafy, black cherry jam aromas with a touch of violet. Ripe, round, dry and moderately soft with spicy, cardamom, peppery, cherry jam flavours with a minty, cassis, caraway aftertaste. A bit dry in the finish but very elegant and drinkable now.
