Côtes du Rhône Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceIntense savoury/garrigue nose with wild fruit and gamy undercurrents - very Châteauneuf-du-Pape like. More spice and savoury streak the roasted pepper, raspberry jam and vanilla coffee flavours of this big and chunky red. There are still plenty of tannins to drop but the structure and fruit will are big enough to carry this youthful red to the finish. A high quality red that will need three to five years further bottle ageing to reach its peak.
