Rutherford, Napa Valley, California, United StatesProduced from a family-owned vineyard in Rutherford that once was the site of a prosperous chicken farm the 2000 cab has a minty coffee cassis nose with vanilla aromas. Tobacco earth and cassis juice mark the palate but with quite a dry acid aftertaste. Fairly light on the mid-palate and short in the finish.
