Jackson-Triggs Shiraz Proprietors' Grand Reserve 2001
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThese are young syrah vines but they have produced a standout effort. Look for rich, spicy, blackberry jam, a peppery, sausage meat nose with smoky, roasted pepper and vanilla notes. Round, ripe, moderately soft tannins mix effortlessly with cherry chocolate fruit and lots of smoky vanilla. Fine flavour intensity as well as good varietal character.Tasted: 20 June 2003Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $21.99 | 750ml | Private Retailers |
