Rhein - Mosel, GermanyWinemaker Manfred Vöpel has close to 50 years of experience in German wine and used that to mix Prädikats-wein from reduced yield for the assemblage of Avantgarde. Vöpel blended riesling and pinot blanc to create Avantgarde -- the first German white wine of its kind. Look for lemony mineral scented nose with apricot, mineral, litchi flavours with an undercurrent figs and vanilla.
