Whitman Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2000

Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThe '00 cabernet is sourced from both Seven Hills and Pepperbridge vineyards. It's ripe blackberry jam, peppery, spicy, vanilla coffee aromas melt into a round, elegant, more forward style red with spicy, peppery, licorice flavours and a blackberry, earthy vanilla finish. Consumer friendly albeit with a slightly heavier hand of smoky oak. The blend is 86/14 cabernet sauvignon/merlot.Tasted: 10 April 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
