Pepper Bridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2000
Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesVery Bordelais in style with that peppery, black olive, spicy, black berry jam, vanilla and coffee nose with a touch of green bean underneath. Fine, concentration with slightly austere, firm grainy tannins and plenty of cassis, coffee, pepper, blackberry and clove flavours. Fine flavour concentration but with big tannins and some alcohol. Needs five to seven years to come around. The blend is 96 cabernet sauvignon and four percent merlot coming from a 70/30 pick of Seven Hills and Pepper Bridge vineyards.Tasted: 10 April 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:US | $50.00 | 750ml |
