L'Ecole No 41 Cabernet Sauvignon 2000
Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesAn almost brutish red at this young age with spicy, peppery, blackberry jam and resiny notes on the nose. It's rich and round if slightly austere, yet balanced with strong cassis jam, blackberry, pepper, coffee and vanilla flavours in the finish. Excellent potential here but will need three to five years to soften up and settle down.Tasted: 10 April 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $66.95 | 750ml | Special order - Winspeer |
