L'Ecole No 41 Apogee 2000

Walla Walla Valley, Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesSpicy, peppery, coffee mocha aromas with black berry, liquorice earth and sweaty leather notes. It's rich, round, elegant and blessed with light tannins. The flavour is a mix of sweet black cherry, pepper and licorice flecked with mocha and earthy. It should develop over the mid-term but with good complexity. The blend is 57/39/4 merlot/cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc all from Pepper Bridge Vineyard.Tasted: 10 April 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
