Sonoma Valley, Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe blend of the Rancho Salina is 63 per cent merlot 22 cabernet sauvignon and 15 per cent cabernet franc. Look for a mocha plum cherry-cola nose. A soft supple entry with more cedar bark flavours and acidity than ripe fruit with smoky resin coffee characters in the finish. Not a lot of tannin but what there is fairly dry.
