Montalcino, Siena, Tuscany, ItalyFrom three non-contiguous vineyards owned by Gaja comes the ripe plum, cherry jam, smoky, gamey, vanilla licorice nose streaked with resin, cardamom and orange rind. Fine complexity with big, ripe tannins and balanced structure and acidity. Look for cherry, mulberry, spicy, orange peel flavours with game, licorice and pepper flavours. A rich, refined Brunello that will improve for at least the next three to seven years.
