Mazzei Fonterutoli Chianti Classico 2000
Tuscany, ItalyBig vanilla, cedar, smoky, coffee nose with cherry, licorice and peppery tobacco notes in the background. Rich, ripe and round, quite balanced and moderately elegant, has very spicy, cedar, vanilla, coffee flavours with hints of smoky, cherry jam. Toasty oak, tobacco, earthy finish. Somewhat brighter acidity and slightly tannic but well done.
