Conde de la Salceda Reserva 1998
Rioja Alavesa, Rioja, SpainThe Reserva is kept for 3 years in American oak casks and 2 years in bottle and is called Conde de la Salceda. Look for an enticing spicy clove and toasted oak aromas to preview a vanilla/cherry jam and cola nose. Fine flavour intensity and mouthfeel with more black fruit flavours. Still youthful and showing some tannin but nothing that will hurt it in another three to five years.Tasted: 13 March 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:Grape: Tempranillo/Tinto Fino/Tinta del Toro/AragonezUPC: 8410052980113
