Bellingham Sauvignon Blanc 2001
Western Cape, South AfricaBellingham Sauvignon Blanc is another South African contender (this is surely the Cape's best emerging varietal) that smells and tastes a bit Kiwi-like. From young vines grown at fairly high altitude this shows cool-climate influence with lifted green nettle, bell pepper, citrus aromas and mid-weight mouth feel. Zippy, lean and refreshing on the palate.Tasted: 01 March 2003Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $14.95 | 750ml |
