Mt. Boucherie Summit Reserve 2000

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis 60 per cent cabernet franc, 30 per cent merlot and 10 per cent cabernet sauvignon has a cherry leafy, minty tobacco nose with a whiff of volatility. The entry is smooth and round but the mid-palate is super dry and tannic. There's a bit of leafy, cherry tobacco flavours but mostly the wine is dry and hard. A good example of why growing cabernet franc is such a risky business in B.C.Tasted: 21 February 2003Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
