Sonoma Valley, Sonoma County, California, United StatesSmoky, toasty oak vanilla nose with ripe peach, apple skin and floral notes all streaked citrus rind and mineral notes. Round, elegant and oily on the palate the '01 is a bit leaner than the 2000 but we love the mineral chalky, green apple/peach, and buttery spicy smoky lees flavours.
