Sandhill Pinot Gris King Family Vineyard 2001

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Sandhill pinot gris fruit comes of the King Family vineyard in Naramata. Expect a floral peach aroma with persistent streaks of grapefruit rind in the background. The entry is fresh, if not a bit tart, before it turns oily on the palate and finishes with a dry, green apple skin and grapefruit rind finish. Oysters or buttered clams would work to temper the dryness. Good effort.Tasted: 12 January 2003Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
