Hester Creek Cabernet Merlot Select Barrels 2000
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAA selection of the best barrels of cabernet and merlot were blended and dedicated to former Hester Creek winemaker Frank Supernak who died trying to save a colleague in a tragic winery accident. Look for spicy, peppery, earthy, vanilla, cassis aromas with black olive and leather in the background. Round and moderately balanced with somewhat dry tannins at the back end. Cedar, pepper, earth and resiny vanilla flavours mark the palate with green leafy, sour cherry, cassis fruit in the finish.
