Bandol, Provence, Sud de France, FranceThe blend is an unusual 95 per cent mourvèdre and 5 per cent grenache. Look for quite an intense licorice and plum fruit nose with hints of smoky game underneath. There's a rich warm mid-palate with more smoky plum licorice flavours in the aftertaste. A big wine at a big price that will require another two to three years to come around.
