Castiglione Falletto, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyPernanno is made from select Nebbiolo fruit from one particular plot within the estate's finest vineyard. Tarry resiny spicy peppery nose with sweaty leather in the background. The entry is soft and elegant followed by a big whack of dry tannins and toasted vanilla oak. The finish is a mix of tar and dried cherry/vanilla flavours.
