Piedmont, ItalyExcellent dark colour with earthy, licorice root aromas and streaks of black cherry. Intense flavours of cherries and licorice with pepper and the ever-present acidity. Solid effort and well balanced in the finish for a barbera. It will improve even more with another year or two in bottle.
