Peregrine Pinot Noir 2001

Central Otago, South Island, New ZealandExcellent ruby colour. Ripe black cherry, plum, spicy, beetroot, gamey, smoky aromas with a touch of compost in the background. Rich, round and soft with very spicy, black cherry, strawberry jam fruit and a smoky, licorice, gamy finish. Supple and long, there's plenty of fruit, fine balance and intensity. Ready to drink but it will hold for another two to three years and improve.Tasted: 25 December 2002Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
