Cruzan Single Barrel Estate Rum 12- Year Old NV
The special blends of old and older rums married and rested again for added maturity in new, heavily charred American oak casks, produce fuller-bodied rums reminiscent of fine Cognacs in character and style. Look for a slightly darker golden amber hue than you find in the 5-year old. It has a similar nutty/toffee nose with smoky/vanilla undertones. A smooth, round, viscous, stylish rum that is somewhat akin to cognac.
