Arbor Crest Merlot 1999
Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesPorty, slightly volatile nose with overripe prune plum, spicy, resiny aromas streaked with cherry and floral components. Alcoholic, rich and very ripe with pruny, cherry flavours and a large whack of spicy, peppery vanilla. Quite dry with lean tannins and a hard edge. A bit over the top and blocky. Lacks balance but time may help here. Drink again g in three to four years.Tasted: 26 December 2002Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:BC | $36.25 | 750ml | Specialty |
