Côtes du Rhône Villages, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceAt Saint Gervais the vineyards are a classic mix of 35 year old grenache noir (60%), syrah (20%) and carignan (20%).Look for a an intense, peppery, spicy meaty nose with black cherry fruit in the background. A foursquare spicy peppery affair with anise and raspberry flavours. Drinkable now but should hold well for another year. A perfect partner to terrines, dishes with well-flavoured sauces, red meats and cheese.
