William Fèvre Chablis Champs Royaux 2001

Chablis, Burgundy, FranceThe Champs Royaux is made with purchased grapes 40 per cent of which are fermented n older oak and 60 per cent in stainless steel vats. Citrus fruits and a mouth-watering finish mark the Fèvre style. It's a pure, if less than intense chardonnay that thankfully isn't too dry. Crisp and clean with a short but acidic tail.
