Shingle Peak Sauvignon Blanc 2001

Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandSweaty mineral gooseberry style with a healthy dose of grapefruit rind. Peppery mineral, gooseberry fruit flavours and a firm, aggressively dry finish. Definitely requires food this year perhaps something like grilled scallops. The good news is the price is down again.Tasted: 01 September 2002Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
