De Wetshof Bateleur 2001

Western Cape, South AfricaBateleur has a much more restrained nose compared to the d'Honneur. It gets 10 months ageing in new wood but the fruit seems well suited to carrying itself well. There is no malolactic and the style is fresh with citrus/lime flavours throughout. A soft ripe delicious drinking style with a red fruit finish. Quite showy at a young age.Tasted: 01 September 2002Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
