St. Hallet Semillon - Sauvignon Blanc 2001

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaLook for a fresh lemon and lime zest nose with passion fruit/grapefruit aromas. Very clean and zippy on the palate with similar lemon/lime and grapefruit flavours on entry that round out and finish with a smooth apple lime aftertaste. A fine value un-wooded white that would be perfect with fresh shucked oysters. It will get better over the next year too.Tasted: 01 May 2002Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
