St. Hallet Cabernet Sauvignon 1999

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaAs expected the colour is dark. Pencil lead and smoky leather aromas mix with bell pepper, bacon and resin highlights. It really assaults the palate on entry with alcoholic but soft round fruit packed with blackberry and tart black cherry flavours. The finish is slightly astringent showing some dry, oaky tannins.Tasted: 01 May 2002Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
