Niepoort Redoma Douro Vinho Tinto 1999
Douro Superior, Douro Valley, Northern Portugal, PortugalRipe cherry jam, gamey, plum, peppery spice nose with some licorice, vanilla and sweaty leather. Rounder and riper with slightly dry tannins, has strong cedar, vanilla oak flavours with black cherry pepper and coffee throughout the aftertaste. Un-knit but has good early-midterm potential.
