Valdivieso Malbec 1999
Region del Valle Central, ChileWinemaker Philippe Dubrus adds a bit of carignan and cabernet sauvignon to this mix of Curicó-sourced malbec grapes. Richer than the merlot but softer than the cabernet this is a fine, everyday, earthy red. The flavours of dark fruits, prunes, black cherry and black berry fruit jump out of the glass. Soft, round, supple, spicy red for the barbecue.Tasted: 01 March 2002Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.95 | 750ml | Specialty |
