Pepi Teroldego 2000
San Benito, San Francisco Bay, California, United StatesMade from an obscure variety from the Trentino region in Italy. Intense purple cherry colour. Ripe cherry, cassis, peppery, gamey, red licorice aromas. Rich, round and ripe with soft tannins. Unusual mix of blueberry, cassis, and cherry fruit with a peppery, spicy finish. Very fruity, ripe style with a warm finish that would be a great barbeque, ribs or pizza wine. Hope to see more of this young wine.Tasted: 01 March 2002Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:US | $15.00 | 750ml |
