Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceReductive aromas of garlic, game and wet earth. It tastes much better than it smells at this point. Elegant style on the palate with spicy lychee meaty (syrah-like) fruit. Full flavoured and well balanced with a fine smoked-earth finish. It's young and should be even better in five years.
