McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaThe 1998 Dead Arm is a youthful red with super ripe plum-blackberry fruit, mocha, tea, peppery flavours. Very dense yet quite supple and fleshy on the palate. Lots of dry, dusty tannin but it fits comfortably over the shoulders of the very rich fruit and warmth. Excellent length. Best 2003 to 2010.
