Valle del Maipo, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe fruit and vineyards are similar to the Casillero range but there is more emphasis on the use of French oak and winemaking techniques giving Trio the added complexity on the nose and palate. The merlot is deeply coloured with amazing lifted blackberry and mint flavours with a leathery-gamy finish. Rich smooth and slightly weedy this is textbook merlot.
