Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileSpicy, pepper, bramble and blackberry aromas and flavours with smoky bell pepper background. Medium weight with soft and round tannins that expand in the mouth. Quite a chunky, beefy style that is deceptive on entry. Good balance and made to serve around the barbecue or with roasted meats. It could use a year or so to round out the tannins in the finish. A fine effort for a first Syrah and definitely a grape to watch for in Chile.
