Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Rouge Réserve 1999
Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceThe reserve is usually about 60 percent grenache blended with a 20/10/10 mix of syrah, mourvèdre and cinsault. Look for an elevated blackberry/cherry character on the nose and similar intensity in the mouth. It's earthy black fruit flavours and dry stylish finish suggests this could be a fine food wine. Richer and smoother with less fresh fruit and more terroir versus the regular - as the price would dictate.Prices:BC | $17.95 | 750ml |

Coteaux du Languedoc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceReductive rubbery barnyard nose with raspberry and tea leave aromas. Dried cherries on entry with quite a peppery earthy tannic bent.
