Tyrrell's Old Winery Pinot Noir 1999

McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaTyrrell's pioneered pinot noir in Australia planting 2 acres in 1972 that eventually went on to beat the world at the 1979 Wine Olympics in Paris. This '99 has an attractive purple colour with a soft berry fruit nose. There's a decent amount of acidity in what is essentially a soft easy-drinking pinot.
