Baron Philippe Pauillac 1998

Bordeaux, FranceRipe blackberry, waxy plum, barnyard and leather aromas, very Pauillac. Medium body with balanced, light tannins. Soft and forward with ripe cassis, spicy, peppery, waxy orange rind flavours. Needs a year to fully round out but clearly the best of the appellation wines and good value.Tasted: 01 October 2001Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
