The flavours are crisp, clean and packed with fresh citrus, green apple notes and a long apple, lime rind finish. A wine that is capable of ageing three decades is possible. Penfolds winemaker Peter Gago says, "it will evolve into the older toasted honeyed style white and not head down the "petrol/diesel" riesling road.
