Pouilly-Fume, Upper Loire, Loire, FranceThe sauvignon blanc for the Pouilly Fume comes off the 2.5 acre "Les Loges" and its chalky vineyard and 50 year old vines. Jolivet uses only the first gentle press juice with complete malolactic fermentation and no oak barrels. Rich fresh weighty complex style showing the depth achieved from the one year ageing on the lees. Outstanding balance here and will improve further with bottle age.
