Region del Valle Central, ChileThe reserve merlot comes off the exquisite La Primavera Vineyard in Sagrada Familia, A cooler, longer than normal vintage slowed down the ripening process producing richer, softer tannins. The color is dark purple and dense to the rim. Lovely open vanilla, cassis and plum scents, with plummy, spicy, mulberry, dried fruits in the finish. Full-bodied and concentrated but soft and delicious in the mouth. Big California New World style that reminds us of south Sonoma.
